White Collar Boxing Benefiting Local Charities in Charlotte
WHAT: Charlotte Corporate Fight Night Weight In will take place on Friday May 2, 2014 at Tanner's Bistro and Lounge 505 E 6th St, Uptown. The White Collar Boxers will be having their weight-in as well meet their opponent before the fight on May 3rd, 2014 at Label Night Club. The weight-in is the meet and greet of the family, friends and colleagues. Boxers will be wearing the boxing outfits for photographic and their charity causes awareness. By meeting the boxers there will be opportunity to ask them their reasons why the cause their are fighting for is important to them, why did choice to boxes, and what would be outcome for their fight.
WHO: Charities benefiting include: Amped 4-A-Cure, Susan G. Komen, South of the Bully Rescue, Give Hope Global, Girls On the Run, Little Smiles of NC, Pregnancy Resource Center, Celiac Disease Foundation, Charlotte Boxing Academy and the Men’s Homeless Shelter
WHEN: May 2, 2014 at 7:00 pm (Eastern)
WHERE: Tanner's Bistro and Lounge 505 E 6th St, Charlotte, NC 28202.
WHY: Charlotte Corporate Fight Night boxers each campaigned to raise funds to support local charities and then fight for them in the ring as the winner gets the prize for their charity. Balancing careers, family, training, confidence, and philanthropy becomes an incredible character building experience as white collar fighters put themselves through one of the greatest challenges of their life with all of the pressures of a real prize fighter. This event will support (10) ten local charities.
