Charlotte STYLE Magazine Names Announces City’s 25 Most Stylish People in April 2010 Issue

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (April 22, 2010)– Charlotte STYLE Magazine presents Charlotte’s 25 Most Stylish individuals within the fashion, business and civic communities in its April Spring 2010 issue, the publication’s inaugural print edition. The list was revealed entire 25 was honored on April 17, 2010 during Charlotte STYLE’s Second Annual 25 Most Stylish event hosted at the luxurious Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge.

Mike Minter, T. Strong, Rachel Sutherland, Brooke Gibson and Jennifer France were voted as the Top Five Most Stylish People in Charlotte and featured on the April cover. The other 2010 honorees include: Arlene Goldstein, Susu Bear, Suzanne Stevens, Linda Martinez, Jeffre Scott, Denise Antonacci, Michelle Walsh, Keir “Keke” Duncan, William Wilson, Sonya Barnes, Lore Emilio, Traci Zeller, Cynthia Johnson, Wade Miller, Joe Franco, Melinda Morris Zanoni, Brian Howie, Cicely “C.C.” Mitchell, Amy Stanard, and Bill Evans.

In addition to celebrating 2010’s 25 Most Stylish individuals, the red carpet event featured a “Go Red Celebrity Fashion Show,” where local celebrities and media personalities Colleen Odegaard (Host of Charlotte Today), Courtnee Mason (Ms. Black Gastonia NC 2009), Cynthia Griner (Mrs. North Carolina International 2010) and Chris Harris (Carolina Panthers), wearing signature red looks, walked the catwalk to raise money the American Heart Association. The spectacular evening had everything from fashion shows featuring independent designers Tara Davis and Beth Pilger as well as showings from Charlotte retailers Jordanos Mens and Womens Boutique and Scarlett Boutique to live dance performances by Electrik Dance TroupeCompany. Radio and television personalities Brittney Cason and Brotha Fred co-hosted and provided lively commentary for the night.
