We hope you have already marked your calendars for September 6, 2008! The CLF committee has been working hard to bring great authors, awesome bands, and speakers that will bring awareness to the community. As I stated before we are excited to announce Family Dollar as our sponsor to the "Kickoff to Writing Program".
Susan Jeffers, PhD. will be a featured speaker/author alongside Terrie Williams. Susan Jeffers the author of many internationally renowned books including Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway, Feel the Fear. . .and Beyond, Feel the Fear Power Planner, End the Struggle and Dance With Life, Dare to Connect, The Little Book of Confidence... Her latest book is The Feel the Fear Guide to Lasting Love, which was published in the UK in May 2005 and in the US and Canada by her own publishing company, Jeffers Press, in October 2005. We are also happy to announce that Grammy award winning, R&B and soul singer Stephanie Mills will be performing at this year's festival!
That's right, Never knew Love Like This Before, Stephanie Mills! The Carolina Panthers have some great prizes for the kid's corner and the Author's Lane is filling up quick! That's just a sneak peak of what's to come!
