The individual World Poetry Slam, a 4 day poetry slam competition, storms the Queen City Dec. 10-13th. Despite the December temperatures, 72 of the hottest poets in the world will be here in Charlotte, NC ready to bring the heat! Representing 4 countries and 3 continents this is sure to be a show you don't want to miss! There will be a last chance slam, two days of preliminary competition, workshops, and side events. All culminating into an exhilarating showcase of poetic talent, as the top 12 poets battle it out to be crowned the best poet in the world on the final stage Saturday Dec 13th.
